TOPIC - Create awareness of how stress affects you and natural ways in which you can transform it. Learn what stress is and its effects on the body. Take tips for botanical medicine, emotional refocusing and patterning using HearthMath, and practice some yoga.
FEATURED SPEAKER: JORGE R. LOPEZ, B.N., a highly trained professional with a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering who is aware of the damage that stress can bring to the working environment and your health. His appreciation for Green Building Designs and Mind-Body Medicine led him to become a Naturopathic Medicine Graduate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with a Bachelor in Naturopathy. Jorge is currently seeing patients for Naturopathic Consults under the license of Rajesh Ragbir, BSc, ND at the Scarborough Naturopathic Clinic. Jorge belongs to the Canadian Yoga Alliance and teaches Ashtanga Yoga and trained in the HeartMath interventions program.

Heartmath Intervention Program – First visit (1 hr) + 5 follow up visits (30 mins) $50 discount. (Regularly $400 - $50 = $350).** Requirements for the workshop:
1. Bring Sweat-wicking comfortable fabrics. Choose fitted longer racerback shirts that offer proper support and don't show too much cleavage. Pants should stretch and fit well.
2. Bring a towel. Use it to wipe your forehead and hands, and to cushion your knees and hips.
3. Think about investing in a yoga mat. It should be firm and sturdy, not too thick or too thin, and of course good to the touch. Also invest in a yoga mat towel to place over the yoga mat so that any sweat does not make the mat slippery.
4. Some yoga instructors offer adjustments, making sure you get the form of all asanas right. If it doesn’t feel right when some stranger touches/pushes/pulls you, just say so to the teacher.
5. Hydrate before, after and , if necessary during the practice.
